Since last week, our team for winter 12/13 is complete! Vanessa and her dog Xiros joined us and are by now getting used to the new jobs. We wish both of them welcome in our team and look forward to a nice season with them.
The first training with overnight in the forests has taken place last week. Alex, Patrick and Ralph have driven south with a 14-dog-team to have overnight at river Naarakoski in the windshelter and then came back home the day after. With this kind of expanded training we get the dogs used to run longer distances and at the same time they learn to have overnight on straw at the stake-out. More of those trainings are planned for this week.
