Training has started! The dogs are doing again what they love and we are happy as well, that it finally goes on again! Last Sunday we harnessed the first team of 12 dogs, by now we are training both kennel sides as regularly as possible. Every team runs about 30 minutes by now. The temperatures during daytime have risen again after last weekend and are now around 15 - 17 degrees, but in early morning it is normally possible to train 1 or 2 teams. If our Musher-Workshop-guests, arriving on next Sunday, are "early-birds" as well, then they can experience the complete excitement of working with sleddogs!
All our puppies got vaccinated and have a microchip now. Our vet Mervi came here to do it all in once and it went quick - as usual. The mothers live part-time back in the big kennels and take part in the first trainings as well.
Officially we end the summer-season on next weekend and start directly into the autumn-season and the Musher-workshops. Clients arriving in the next days and weeks will find still plenty of mushrooms and berries in the forests, as well as nice day-temperatures with good sun for activities. And of course - as mentionned above - the possibility to take part in our dog-training. We are looking forward to seeing you here!
