2013 has started! Amazing how fast time runs. It feels like our 17 guests for New Year have just arrived, but most of them are already on the way back home. We spent a good week with many different clients, nice temperatures and a lot of new snow. We were running 2 groups on the Bears Trail and 2 groups for the special NewYear Program. Delicious 4-course-dinners made eating a real happening and even short northern lights were seen.
2012 was a great year for Eräkeskus. Almost the whole crew from previous winter stayed here also for summer and made an easy summer possible. The start of our new project Time-Out was very promising and we could spend uncountable good moments with those clients and give them a lot of inspiration, orientation and ideas for their future. The number of our repeater-clients in growing constantly and many "welcomes" turn into "hey, nice to see you again". It is a very nice job to help other persons spending unforgettable weeks.
It is time to say a huge THANK YOU to all my team-members here! You are a real great team, I can completely trust on you, you help each other in every possible situation, at every possible moment. Thanks to all my guides for taking so good care of our guests when out on tour. Thanks to everybody here on the yard for keeping everything running, being ready for everything what was not planned, at every time of the day. You keep the back of us guides free and this is so important! Thanks to everybody for the excellent cooking - next spring we start a diet again! And of course a big hug to all our dogs who always show the same excitement and who make our work so much fun. What could Eräkeskus be without that team and without those dogs!
A special Thanks goes to Mareike who helped us out during the last 2 weeks. Mareike was already here in winter 08/09 and now took a short time-out from her studies to come back here. It was great to have you here again, to see how you recognised many of the dogs aven after 3 years and to see how you were a completely reliable team-member from day 1 on. Tomorrow she goes back to Germany to continue her studies. But already inMarch we will see her here again. Thank you Mareike!
And last but not least a big Thank You to all our partners abroad who support us since years and send us many new guests. You helped making Eräkeskus what it is today and you will be a very important part also in future! It is a pleasure to work with you and I look forward to the next 10 years!
