Highseason here at Eräkeskus since now 3 weeks, fully booked with guests for Bears Trail and Border Trail. Highseason like this means more than a full time job for all workers and that´s why they get here a big thank you for keeping those weeks running smoothly and easy. And of course a big Thank you also to all our dogs, they have run in February until now already a total of close to 30`000 km.
Since the last News, we unfortunately did not see the sun for many times. But still, running dogs on those soft, snowy trails at the moment is perfect fun. Today finally, the sun came back and was shining at us almost the whole day. Surely the guests who have already left for the tours with guides Kati and Alex, could make really nice pictures full of memories. Nadia is starting on tour tomorrow, Tanja is following on Friday. Then our kennels are almost empty, only veterans, yearlings and pups left. To keep them happy, they will all get a big bone tomorrow!
Since Sunday, Ralph is back in our team! For the next 12 months at least he will be working with us and perfectionising his skills that he already started to train during last autumn. We, the "old crew", are of course very happy that he could come back so quickly and he will be a big, important help in the next weeks of highseason. The up-date on the team-pages with Ralph will follow soon!
