A busy time is behind us, there was no time to update the news!
While Ralph is on holiday, we other 4 are taking care of many guests. Last Saturday we had to cook for 22 persons, which kept our cook Ornella rather rotating in the kitchen... :-)
Last week was probably THE Paddling-week of the season. 33 canoe- or kajak-days we spent with our guests on the waters around us. Everything between Naarajoki and Valamajoki we were paddling on. Some canoes got filled with water, but by now everything is dry again.
Alex was 5 days on Karelian Explorer Tour, they sadly missed fresh fish. This summer the bites are not as often as we hoped for. But still, food on the tour was excellent and worth 4-stars. Roastbeef in wilderness... where else is that served!
Tuija is getting bigger and lazier. The planned ultrasound in week 32 will only confirm what we already know for sure. Also the puppy out from Sakkes litter, who will join our pack in about 3 weeks, is selected by now: welcome Triton soon. Fresh blood for our breed-planning and puppies to play with for our late summer-guests.
