Bordertrail and BearsTrail successfully completed!

Due to bad, wet weather conditions we had to shorten the tours from 2 weeks by 1 overnight in the cabins. Now we are back on track with the regular programs! Yesterday came back home 1 group of Bordertrail and 1 group of BearsTrail. Still out on the trails, coming back this afternoon, are 2 more groups of BearsTrail.

The overnight-places at the cabins have dried out and are mostly snow-free, which makes dry overnights on good strawbeds possible again for our athletes. Some part of the trails with lot of sun are mostly green or icy, but most parts of our trail-net are still in surprisingly good shape. The different weather forecasts for coming week do not really agree about fresh snowfalls. We hope, those who predict a nice amount of fresh snow, starting on Thursday (start-day for the next BearsTrails) are correct. Luckily they all agree on constant minus degrees, which makes us hope and believe that the next week will be a good one again. Yes, spring is waiting outside, but we have not yet opened the door! Instead we are looking foreward to some more sunny days out on the trails again!

The pictures from the last 2 weeks show the conditions of our trails at the moment and the nice, sunny late-winter-weather!
