... we got a bit from everything here in the last days! It does not change a lot, now that April, well known for always changing weather, is over. Still this morning we had some snowfalls, more to come. To be honest, we would much more appreciate now sun and warmer temperatures! At least the lakes are now almost ice-free; only some shadow-shores still remind us about last winter. We wait a bit longer to warm the water a little bit more, then we start with our free runs. The dogs can't wait much longer... Then it's time also to put up the swimming pool for the dogs and install our jumping-raft in the lake, and then finally... the fun-water-season can start!
Our first honeymoon-couple is in the weeding-suite right now. Shadow & Sakke would be our dream-couple nbr 1 for this summer. So cross fingers, that they do what they are expected to do... and beginning of July we would have our first summer-puppies here!
The first 2-day-hike took place this week, of course with overnight in a windshelter. Corinna, Fiona and Sanne were hiking for 2 days on the Bears Trail and were lucky to see 2 real Bears! This is the best confirmation, why the trail is called Bears trail! It's a huge privilege to be so in the middle of nature and see those impressive inhabitants once in live! The night in the windshelter was rather cold, but a burning fire and a good sleeping bag made it possible!
Today, officially our summer season starts, a period during which all of us work only 50 %. We have a long winter behind us and everybody deserves a little break. We all have some plans, what to explore and where to go. Thanks to all our summer guests who understand, that not all the time everybody is here present. Of course during the busy weeks, all of us will be here, and the usual high level in kitchen and service is guaranteed throughout whole summer!
