On coming Thursday the basement-works for our new beach-sauna starts. We started to take down the old BBQ-place, while the new BBQ-hut waits to be built up. The new puppy-fence for the Taivas-puppies is luckily finished and the little ones are happy to explore their new territories all day long. The maintaining-works in the big kennels are on a good way. 40 m3 firewood for the cold winter were delivered and wait to be piled up properly. Thanks to regular and sufficient rainfalls, our lawn is growing like crazy and needs to be cut every week at least. Easy summer? Boredom? Not here!
While July was rather easy with guided activities, now August will be our guiding-high-season. And as Carolin, Alex and Cino are having soon their well deserved holiday, the remaining team of 3 will definitely be busy in August. But for sure Dennis, Roger and Simone will nicely handle it!
Temperatures are often already more autumn-like which makes an occasional kickbike-training with the dogs possible. But swimming in the lake is not a real highlight this summer. Last week on paddling-trip, when sleeping in tents, nights were rather cold. But... the dogs like it - and we are actually also ok with it.
