The hot and very dry summer-days have finally gone. The thermometer now shows more normal temperatures und we get short rains regularly. Water levels are coming back to normal, the lake is freshed up and nature is happy about it - we are happy as well!
Right now we enjoy a few days without guests. Coming week we have the next arrivals. "Enjoying" means: having regular days off, discover new areas, having more time with and for the dogs and especially the puppies, eating simple junkfood once in a while and having relaxed evenings on the lake instead of being in the kitchen. It's nice for once!
Our wild berry-garden got a bit more civilized during the recent days and even got an enclosure made out of the remaining old logs, what were used as redhouse-basement before. And we could harvest the berries at the same time and enjoy them with vanilla-icecream. In the forests, blueberries can still be found and the cranberries are slowly getting red. For hiking-trips this ensures nice snacks on the trails. Hopefully also the mushrooms will soon start to grow.
Our totally 24 puppies are growing and have a lot of fun. The Tosca-Pups got access now to their outdoor-playground; Tsar gets short walks every day, the Bria-Pups are having fun and playing like crazy maybe 22 hours a day. Only the 2 weeks young Liisa-Pups are spending their days at the moment by only sleeping and drinking.
