Midsummer and more Puppies

We wish to all our readers a nice, sunny midsummer-weekend! Here we have a rather windy and a bit rainy day with only 17 degrees C.  But... there are less moskitos than usual - so everything has good sides, we only have to see them!
Our longest day of the year lasts from sunrise to sunset 20hours40 minutes. And the remaining time is twilight, means we have 24hours light.

During the last days we were renovating the entry-roof of our Aittokoski-camp, which was leaking a little bit. And - thanks to the drone - we could see the camp for once also from above. Quite impressive with all the forests around and the little blue lake, we think. What is your opinion?

Our single-pup Tsar, from mum Mysa, keeps on growing, even getting a bit fat by now. His advantage to have no need to "fight" for the best place at the milk-bar. But he is increasing also his own activity-level and we are sure, his big belly will disappear within the coming weeks.
From Bria we got 8 healthy, active new pups, so far without name, on June 19th. 3 boys and 5 girls, everybody is doing well! And the next mum will then be Tosca, we expect her litter during the next week.

Our activity-intense period of the year has started as well. A lot of paddling trips are scheduled in these days, some of them - because of the often strong winds - had to be shortened a bit or got a bit more difficult. Luckily our week-guests are as flexible as we are and if a day is too windy, we can simply postpone the trip to the next day.

And of course, we also take the time to follow our football-teams in Russia... It will be interesting to see the national teams of our German and Swiss Eräkeskus-team-members performing against each other soon...
