Spring is coming, closer and faster! Last night we had only -5C, would have liked a bit colder. But still minus, luckily, at least during the nights! At daytime with unchanged great sun and blue sky we go a bit above zero, up to +3C in the sun. But... seen the masses of snow we have, this does not worry us a lot! Yesterday with those sunny conditions, the snow-cover was decreasing by not even 2cm. Means mathematically, we will have snow for 40 to 50 more days...!
The end of our winter-season is also coming closer. 2 more weeks busy with many guests, then suddenly itwill be silent here. Sure we will soon miss the guests! After 16 weeks high-season and full house, it will be funny to have an empty guesthouse from one day to the other. As long as our trails are nice and good, during coming weeks we will focus on running the Taivas-pups for their first times in harness and down-train the tour-dogs step by step. Some of the older dogs are already starting their summer-break in the next few days.
Hoping for more sunny days, colder nights and many more nice sled-rides with a good layer sun-protection on the skin! Happy Easter to everybody!
