Time to start! While we still expect 3 new team-members, starting here on 1st October, we have started the autumn-training of the dogs yesterday. The cool temperatures were too tempting to resist any longer! The young and middle-aged dogs now get the opportunity to get rid of excess energy, rising always at this time of the year. They will run every 2nd day at the moment. The older dogs start a bit later and still relax and watch. There are not many pictures from the first training day - as always this starting-phase is a bit hectic... but on Facebook you can follow us during the coming days with regular updates on trainings. Only Polo is smilling to our camera today - in the name of all others!
Besides training we keep on collecting mushrooms, as long as they can be found in the forests; keep on fixing kennels and get them ready for winter; teach the Bria-Pups to eat from their own bowls; still hike a lot with and without guests, enjoy the beautiful colours of the autumn-forests and let the dogs carry their own bags. While more up north, the Indian Summer-time is at its peak at the moment and maybe soon over, we still have it in front of us!
