Our tour-season has officially started last Saturday, when the first guests for Bears-Trail arrived. They start tomorrow for the cabin-trip with 2 overnights. Dennis will be their guide, Bianca joins as co-guide. While today Alex and Dennis are out with the scooter to open more trail-parts and fill the overnight-places with food/snacks for the dogs, the guests themselves enjoy a skiing- and relaxing-day. And Siri started her favourite job again: she is giving company to guests from the guesthouse to the lodge and vice-versa, or - if she is in good mood - may also join as freerunner a sled-group on a day-trip...
At the moment we have rather mild temperatures. But there is enough snow for dogsledding and safely putting the snowhook in the ground. And if one falls from the sled, there is enough soft snow to slow-down the fall... There is thick ice on the lakes, but still some parts with overflow. We get colder temperatures in the next days again and then those parts will disappear.
Our Christmas-Bakery is working hard. Many tasty Christmas-Cookies are ready for eating. Thanks to our volunteering busy bakers! Our Outdoor-Christmas-Tree is ready and looking good! The Indoor-Tree willl follow for next weekend. Christmas-Decoration is ready and today we got even a new sauna-oven in the lodge! Ready to start! Christmas can come!
