Warm summerdays!

Not like in Central Europe, where everybody suffers from too hot temperatures, we enjoy here a nice summer with acceptable temperatures. This week, a so called heatwave is laying over the country and brings us up to 26 degrees C. Rainfalls every now and then is good for the berries, mushrooms and everything else in nature. But still, river Jongunjoki has already rather low waterlevels. The Swiss family, paddling there for a few days, had to push and pull the canoes on several parts.

Viva and Tsar, our teenagers who travelled to Central Europe, are enjoying their new homes there. Viva is living in the Swiss mountains and Tsar is on the way to Germany now, after having travelled whole Scandinavia for many weeks together with Katja.

Next to guest-serving, we could also finish some small projects recently. Every kennel has now an own name-plate with all dogs living in that compartment. A nice help for visitors certainly. And the bbq-hut is now reachable on a new built stair.
And we said bye to Alex, who is enjoying camping-life now for 2 months all around Scandinavia. Happy holiday!

We survive the heatwave with a lot of swimming in the lake; the dogs - in picture Ducati, looking for sunshelter - are digging holes in the sand and enjoy the pool. As usual!
