Our Christmas-guests left Saturday and Sunday. New-Years-Guests arrived those same days. All have been on the sled already for trainingday 1 and 2. Highseason in Eräkeskus! 5 groups and 20 guests are celebrating New Year with us. The dogs are motivated and allthough it is a bit too mild, the trails last, the lake is frozen and it gets colder soon again! Thumbs up!
Dennis and Alex still have a lot of work to do with opening new trail parts. Fallen trees blocked several parts completely and we hope, no more trees fall now on our trails anymore. We had a very short and very cold wave of real winter, thanks to that the ditches are at the moment all nicely frozen and will be covered with fresh snow soon. Our trail-net is growing step by step!
Frank and his leaddog Mandela joined the team again by end of December. And also Caro with her Collie Socke is back in the team since New Year. Welcome to both! Frieda is leaving us by 5th January. She completed a 4-months-period of volunteering and did a great job! We will miss her! Thanks Frieda for all your help - welcome back whenever you feel like! Frieda will be replaced by Anja, starting her volunteering period on January 6th.
