Fun Fun Fun..
…driving on snowy, perfect trails with sunny beautiful weather you can`t name it different! It was really unbelievable. At the same time not being able to share these moments with guests is such a pity. But “having fun” means also to make fun of each other once in a while: Caro recently said how nice it would be to earn money again with a sled ride in these perfect weather- and trail-conditions and to show our marvelous landscape to guests also. Gaby made fun of it and after riding sled together and coming back to the New kennel she gave Caro some coins – grinning J. We are not allowed to and we won`t lose our humor in these Corona-times..! J
The beautiful weather with lot of sunshine was not only used for another cabin-sledride to the Aittokoski (Simone with her dream-team, Frank even for 2 nights and Caro was driving with Gaby and Frieda) but also to take new pictures from the lodge and our guesthouse for the website. With all this snow it looks much better now on our yard than in the last winter-seasons.
Before we got warm degrees Jarkko from Jongunjoen Matkailu joined us with his family for a sled ride and little 7year-old Ahti was allowed to stand on the runners of Frank’s sled for a while – a big smile in his face was the result! J Currently we have 6 guests, a group of taxi drivers from Lieksa, which took a sled ride first and stayed for dinner afterwards. And it wouldn’t be real Finns if they wouldn’t have gone into the Sauna before having dinner..:-) So it prevails a little bit of busy winter-season with 6 guests being present today: including driving instructions, trail-discussions, needed help in the kennel while harnessing dogs, kitchen-works etc – and of course with our special supervisor and security Siri.
