After a fully booked NewYears-Week, now also week 2 comes soon to an end Not fully booked, but despite difficult travel restrictions, wome Swiss, Germans and Austrians found the way to Eräkeskus. Up to 12 guests we had for dinner in the restaurant - it felt great, almost like normal! Normal days at Eräkeskus with sled rides, snow shovelling, keepinjg feet warms and taking care for customers. And now also the first 2 groups of Bears Trail are over. We started at -29C and came home with +2C, not easy for dogs and humans to cope with those extreme weather ups & downs. But everrbody did great - thanks to guests and dogs!
Coming week is almost empty and we will have a lot of available dogs for own driving without looking behind us. Some runs to the Aittokoski cabin are planned and increasing the distances to get the dogs ready for the Long Distance week "Go West2 in week 5 & 6. Hoping that the weater gets a bit more stable until then...
