Detailed program for 4 days/3 nights

You will independently travel to our lodge, where we will warmly welcome you. After checking in and settling into your cozy room, you'll have the opportunity to take a relaxing walk with one of our dogs. Afterwards, you can warm up and unwind in the sauna. We'll end the evening with a delicious dinner. If you wish, you can then help with the evening feeding and gain insight into our kennel routine.

After a hearty breakfast, you'll receive your equipment and a theoretical introduction to dog sledding and handling our dogs. Then we'll get down to business: together, we'll harness the dogs – an intensive and beautiful experience that will help you build a connection with your team. Afterwards, we'll embark on our first, somewhat easier sled ride (approx. 1 – 1.5 hours, depending on the group's driving skills). Back in Eräkeskus, the dogs will be cared for and rewarded first, before we all sit down for lunch and discuss the experiences of the ride. The afternoon is yours to enjoy – relax in nature or warm up with a cup of tea.

After a leisurely breakfast buffet available until 10 am, we'll once again head out to the dog teams together. Today, a slightly more technically challenging tour through the breathtaking Finnish winter landscape is on the agenda. You'll quickly notice that after yesterday's introduction, everything runs much more smoothly, and you can fully concentrate on the interaction with your team. We'll be out with our dogs for around 2 to 2.5 hours – through glistening snow, silent forests, and untouched nature. Back at the lodge, we'll take care of the dogs, and a strengthening lunch awaits you in our restaurant. The afternoon is yours to enjoy: perhaps you'll accompany our old-timers on a leisurely walk or relax in the lakeside sauna. In the evening, we'll meet again in the restaurant for a joint dinner.
