Summer has now started also officially, allthough we had it here already since a few weeks. From now on, the days get shorter about 6 minutes per day - but who cares, if there is only a short period of twilight and sunrise is shortly before 3h in the morning, when anyhow almost everybody is sleeping.
After a short period of cooling down, we are now back at normal Finnish summer temperatures. Before the next expected heat wave is here, we started putting more camouflage to the kennels to give extra sun shelter to the dogs. And for us, the humans, we got our water trampolin into Lake Nurmijärvi. After a short swim, one can now sunbath on it and then jump back to the refreshing wet.
Ready to use is now also our new Frisbee Golf Court and as late as 22h in the evening, one can see our guests training and perfectionising their PAR. We will see, who will be the Frisbee-Champ of summer 2013. By now, Adrian (beginner) and Corinna (more experienced) are in lead.
Since last Friday, we have Luise in our team. She was here with her family during last winter and now started a 2-week long practical stay. Have Fun!
And last but not least: Shortly after the last News, our female Tuija finally decided to come in heat, she enjoyed a few days with Timmy in the honeymoon-suite and now we hope to have a litter of little baby-alaskans here by week 34.
