Canoeing/Kayaking in North-Karelia

When we talk about fully flexible paddling-programs, we really mean it! Eräkeskus is facing Lake Nurmijärvi, which is connected  to the rivers Jongunjoki and Lieksanjoki. In the same river&lake-system we have access  to the smaller, more adventurous rivers Hähnijoki, Laklajoki, Valamajoki and Mukajoki. Since many years we are paddling on those rivers and lakes and we know the most beautiful parts and shores. This is what makes our paddling program so flexible. We can combine almost endlessly rivers and lakes, make shorter or longer trips on them, with or without rapids on the rivers, simple lake-paddling or more demanding rivers. The infrastructure with fireplaces, wind shelters and watering-rafts are maintained by the City of Lieksa and the Finnish Forest Goverment. And if one single day paddling is not enough for you, we are happy to join you for 2 or more days with overnight stays in tent or wind shelters. Sleeping bag, tent, cooking equipment, waterproof bags and mattress will be provided by us, but you should take shoes that can get wet (Crocs, FlipFlops or similar)!

All day-trips are charged at the standard price of € 95.-- per adult and € 70.-- per child up to 15 years and can be combined to multi-day activities.

They can be booked daily from May 1st to September 15th.
 

Pre-booked/confirmed day-activities are guaranteed and do not require a minimum number of participants. Activities booked on spot can not be guaranteed in every case! To simplify our weekly planning and guide assignment, we appreciate all bookings before arrival.
