That's what our guests got during last week. Beginning of the week it was again freezing cold, up to -30 degrees C. Also at tour-start it was still similar cold. But a lot of sunshine as compensation! Only for the last day out on tour, temperatures were rising again to milder -10 degrees and fresh snow arrived as well. So the last day from Bears Trail was luckily softer to drive and more relaxed as well. Today our scooter-crew was out almost the whole day to prepare the trails better, thanks to this finally arrived fresh snow.
Next week we have first time this season 5 guides out on tour with guests. Bears Trail, Border Trail and Winterweek are on the program. The real high-season starts then this evening, when our new guests from Holland, France, Germany and Switzerland are arriving. We especially look forward to see Gretje and Eelco again, who spend now the 3rd holiday week here within 12 months.
Our Top-10-Dogs with the highest distance run during during this season, are as per yesterday evening (from 10 to 1): Dandy, Ronja, Tapio, Junior, Django, Panda, Pasi, Sisu, Fluffy and winner Timmy. Great job done by those dogs, but of course also a great thank you to all others who follow closely, but did not yet participate in many week-tours. Those placings will change often during the next weeks!
Up now to face the high-season!
