The first tour-week of this season 16/17 is almost over. 2 first groups of Bears Trail are back in the lodge and leave tomorrow and after-tomorrow back home. 2 complete weeks as planned and published were possible, although the day-temperatures are a bit above zero at the moment. But both groups could finish the week with 2 cabin-overnights and so a total of 42 dogs made the final test before the season really starts. Tomorrow and on Friday will arrive our Christmas-Guests and then we rock the whole program 
The shortest day is today, and it was only 4h34min long. Plenty of time to enjoy the sauna and the fireplace in the lodge in the dark hours. But despite the short daylight, all sled-activities are done before sunset!
Now we look forward to the next week and many new and known faces coming to celebrate Christmas with us!
