Our "normal" Weeks have started

Slowly but surely, the normal routine here takes over, after the sometimes rather chaotic last weeks with lack of snow or extreme cold temperatures. In week 3 we could not drive with the sleds a lot, as it was constantly freezing cold, down to -36 C, and we cancelled all overnight-trips. This last week now we finally could do the first overnight-week-programs. 2 groups of Bears Trail and 1 group of Border Trail made it over the week, run the normal programs with 2 or 3 overnights outside and so our guests are happy!

Still, the weather is a never ending challenge. Yesterday we had 0 degrees C and were worried it could start raining suddenly. Now we luckily have again minus degrees, almost all trails are open and we are looking forward to the rest of our winter season, hoping that the remaining weeks are less weird than the start!
