There is not a lot to write about, as at this time of the year, everything and everybody is concentrated on training and getting the new team-members into the system.
So in short words: the dogs run at the moment 3 - 4 times per week. Soon we will increase the distances of actually 3 - 10 km (depending on age of the dogs), if weather continues as it is at the moment: dry and fresh, getting slowly colder. The Yearlings from summer 2015 are all working well and seem to have a lot of fun in their job.
The team is almost complete now, only Valentin missing, he will arrive next weekend. Begining of October now we had Caro and Svenja joining the team, as well as well known Frank, who spends now his 3rd winter here with us. Presentation of everybody soon on the team-pages.
2 big puppies left us: Toivo from the Ruby-litter and Loki from the Marju-litter moved to Germany beginning of October. Loki had a malformation in his front paw since birth and therefor will never be active sleddog. But as house-dog he will be happy and bring lots of fun to his owners! Toivo as puppy was suffering from Panosteitis and for this reaon it is unsure if he can be sleddog or if it will bother him longer. When we got the chance to put them together in a new beautiful home, we did not hesitate long time, although they are both missed already! A big Thank you to Anna and Family who give to both of them a good new home where they will be happy house-dogs!
