Keep calm - the Season 15/16 is over!
Last Friday Alex came back with 2 guests from the last overnight-trip, on Saturday we had the last snowshoe-hike around the lakes Änäkäinen and on Sunday the last guests left.
It was a great and successful season, even the weather was a bit crazy for long weeks. We served 236 week-guests with our small team, most of them booked the winter-week or the Bears Trail. But also many Bordertrails and some Exclusive-weeks were part of the bookings. Our dogs ran a bit more than 4 times around the globe, a bit over 165´000 km. Compared to previous seasons, this sounds not a lot, but seen that we had almost 7 weeks break due to bad weather, it is still an impressive figure.
Melanie, Marco, Sandra, Erik, Nadja, Monika, Elisabeth and Kevin were supporting our team for short-term. Martina and Frank were here for the whole season. And the basic team, which will also be here during summer, was made by Alex, Konstantin, Daniel and Simone. To all of them a big Thank You for all what you have done in the last weeks and months!
Also a big Thank You of course to all our guests who were here during this season. Many of you have already booked for next winter again and we are very happy and proud about this. And of course also a big Thank You to all our partners in Middle-Europe for cooperating with us that well yet another season!
Now we can calm down here a bit. It will take a few weeks until the last snow and ice have gone, also a few weeks until the first shy green from the birches will show up. But this often wet and grey season has also some advantages and we will make the best out of it. 5 weeks of break before the summer-season starts again are very welcome here!
