It does not stop anymore... snowing, snowing, snowing... we just came back with 5 guests, 2 guides and 35 dogs, opening parts of the trails again. Strong winds are blowing and closing almost everything again within a few hours. Especially lakes and swamps are a real challenge at the moment, even for the most experienced leaddogs like Shadow or Timmy. And tomorrow everything starts again... snowing, blowing and trails re-opening. Our scooters get a purposeful break at the moment, we try to manage for once by pure man- and dog-power! 
The Ruunaa-Pups, by now a bit over 7 months old, moved to the big kennels during last week. Both boys, Hook and Smee, moved to the Old Kennels, the ladies, Saimaa, Gioja, Tundra and Hazel, live now in the New Kennels. So the puppy-house is empty again - which is good! Because our first litter 2016 is "under construction" since 4 weeks. Ruby got married with Risto and in about 10 days we will get the first ultrasound-picture. Cross fingers! And the 2nd litter 2016 is planned, here we just wait for the chosen female to be in heat, it could happen rather soon! So cross fingers here as well!
Coming Saturday we have a real busy time here... another "cross-finger-job" for you! 23 day-guests want to start out on tour, in addition to our "normal" week guests, new arrivals, departures, lunch and dinner for totally 46 persons. Yes, we call it "full house" then. We and our dogs are lucky to get support by Katarina, Anu and Sandro. Everything will be fine!
And a last mention: we receive already now a lot of booking requests for winter 16/17, but sadly cannot find time to update our calculations and put those online. So we decided to guarantee rates of the existing programs for all bookings coming in until 30.04.2016. Arrival- and departure day will be again Saturday or Sunday, except for the Christmas- and NewYears Week, which will start 2016 on Thursday and Friday. Book early enough and make sure we have rooms available for your preferred travel date and profit from the rates!
