Now it really arrived, spring 2016! While we still could run all programs as planned during the last week (2 groups on Bears Trail and 2 groups for the Winter-Week), it started with precipitations in mostly water-form yesterday and actually everything is melting very fast at the moment. Also during the nights, temperatures are not dropping below zero anymore. But still, 9 new guests arrive during this weekend and spend the very last week of the season 15/16 with us. We promise to do what is still possible with sleds and dogs, and then offer alternatives if needed.
Ruby gave birth to 5 puppies on 24th March! Pups and Mum are doing well, but one of the babies already met our vet in Lieksa, as Ruby was a bit too over-careing at the beginning and hurt him.
As always at the end of the season, our team is getting smaller again. Monika and Kevin left us by end of March and are trying actually to get used to the middle-European life again. Huge Thanks to both of you! We wouldn't have survived without you! So there are only 6 of us left now!
