After today's breakfast we drove the last guests back to the airport to fly home and so the season 16/17 is now over. Thanks to Petra, Jarmila, Nicole, Svenja, Maren, Iris, Faris, Daniel, Hanns, Roberto and Dani for joining us for our last week of the season! Thanks Cino and Frank for guiding the last 2 groups on Bears Trail and thanks Svenja fpr guiding the last day-trips of the season. Thanks to the rest of the team who stood strong until the very end of the season, giving everything to make it an unforgettable week for our guests and who served a delicious 5-course-dinner yesterday evening to end the season in style! And thanks to all our dogs who now start their well earned summer-break. Just a few short fun-runs left, to drain the energy out and get some more routine for the yearlings. Nothing else on their program anymore.
24 groups on Bears Trail, 18 groups Winterweek, 10 Bordertrails, 3 Exclusive-groups and 3 groups with the special xmas/newyears-Program; that was on the seasons booking list. Our dogs run almost 190´000 km for us and our guests; on the podium we find Ruunaa, Suomi and Flocke; but in fact every single kilometer any of our dogs was running, no matter if veteran, yearling or "best-age"-worker, was important and cntributed to a great season who came to an end now without problems and clean. The pure joy and excitement of our working dogs, what they show every day when harnessed, is contagious (not to everybody, but almost 
) and already now the motivator for our next winter 17/18. Programs, dates and rates for coming season will be put online in the next few days, bookings can be placed already now.
Svenja and Frank will leage us by end of April and drive back home to Germany. Carolin and Cino are - with Alex and Simone - part of the summer team and we will get more support later during beginning and mid-summer by 2 new workers. That's the actual staff-planning of summer 2017, but we know and have learned that nothing can be taken for sure in these times!
Last but not least a huge thanks to our guests and partners, who gave us so much work during this winter and who make sure, we never get bored 
. Summer season will start already mid-May with the first guests and until then we hope for a quick and easy snow-melting and will enjoy a few relaxed guest-free days, some short holidays and much more time with and for our dogs!
