MIDSUMMER

...we also celebrated with a barbecue and fire on the lake, but unfortunately without guest.

Finland should loosen the travel restrictions due to the infection rates. The government's new regulations could thus lead to the opening of the borders between Finland and at least 12 European countries on 13 July 2020, thus lifting travel restrictions. However, a full review of the lifting is expected at a later stage and the government will take a decision by 10 July at the latest.

In the event of a positive decision, guests should therefore be able to return to Finland from 13 July onwards - we are confident and look forward to welcoming our guests here in Eräkeskus in July.

Nature has exploded, lupines everywhere you look. Summer thunderstorms provide a welcome cool down from time to time.

Sound next to brother Ultra our oldest male, enjoyed a soothing shower against his scaly coat. At this point also a small update how Vaasa is doing in her new home. She has met great new friends and feels super comfortable.

Although we are far away from Lapland there are wild reindeer here, which we rarely see, like this one near our forest house Aittokoski.

And finally, we would like to say goodbye to Taffya and Constantin. We thank them for their great commitment over the last two years and wish them all the best in their new home in Sweden together with Karhu, who has become so dear to them after having been their house dog for over a year.

We wish all a wonderful summer.
