The last return from the Aittokoski-cabin from Gabriel's group, the last driving instructions in front of the lodge, the last start of 6 teams out of the new kennels and 5 teams out of the old kennels, the last scooter-emergency in the "Russian-Loop", the last melting-period with overflow on the lake, the last days off for Lisa, Petra and Julia, the last 5-course-dinner, the last running washing machine with bedlinen from departed guests, .... so many "lasts" for this ending year 2022.
And tomorrow we continue: with the first breakfast buffet at 10am, the first starting teams (same number of teams as today), the first driving instructions for 4 day-guests, the first snowshoe-hike with Petra, the first heating of the beach-sauna, the first 5-course-dinner, the first days off for Gabriel and Alex, ... so many "firsts" for the new year 2023.
We had a good 2022 and it's time for a Thank you to all our guests from near and far, all our sponsors who support our dog-pack so loyal, all partners from the travel industry, our vets, our dogfood-suppliers, all team-members (no matter if here now or already left), simply: thank you to everyone who supported and helped us in no matter what way to reach the 20th year of Eräkeskus-history. No, it was not always easy... but that's nowehre! We are happy to be able to have our fun here and live our dreams and we all look forward to the coming year 2023! May it bring more peace to all of us, in Europe and the whole world, may we remain healthy and may no new pandemics arrive, and may the different problems in this world be solved or at least go to the right direction and we all contribute our small little help to reach that goal!
